Once upon a time, in the depths of the Nordic forest, morning fog surrounded the fir trees with chills, and swarms of flies fluttered towards the enchanting evening, seeking refuge atop furrowed moss hills. Through the trees' thorns and needles towering tall with possession, under the shimmering moon, an ominous presence loomed. She was the Huldra, a guardian in wandering, tip-toeing atop soil beds where the forest creatures lay; she was both beautiful and brutal, like a delicate balance of the wild, luring beings astray. With an enigmatic bond between the ageless whispering woods and the animals there within, the Huldra was the mesmerising and magical force within its nature, and her fierce protection of its duality was as ever-present as the howling wind.
