Maria Nilsdotter is a Swedish jewellery designer living and working in Stockholm. We own and operate three stores in Stockholm and Gothenburg. We are always interested in meeting new talents. Working alongside the PR, Marketing & Wholesale team, this opportunity will expose you to and give you a comprehensive experience of working in the field of fashion & jewellery.

You will be handling multiple tasks such as assisting in showroom, press work, handling social media & content creation as well as helping with wholesale orders.

This internship will be based in Stockholm and run for 6-12 months. This position can be both full time and part time.

Maria Nilsdotter is now looking for an in-house Goldsmith with excellent communication skills to join our growing team in Stockholm. In this role, you are required to have a degree in goldsmithing. It is also highly meriting if you have studied gemology. You need to be a self starter and be able to work independently as well as together with our creative- and sales team. The Role is part time (40-50%) and will report to our Head of Product/Sourcing Controller.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on repairs and alterations in-house, such as resizing, engraving, and refurbishing.

  • Educate staff in product & material continuously - ensure that your colleagues have the right prerequisites to provide best in class service to our customers at all times

  • Responsible for service orders, outsourcing when needed and develop guidelines and procedures for efficient handling

  • Develop quotes and production plans for bespoke pieces for customers in-store and online

  • Further develop benchmarks and policies for our products and corresponding production and make sure we have the prerequisites needed to meet them.

  • Handle administrative tasks connected to sourcing of material and components when needed.

Desired Profile

  • You are professionally experienced in working with various precious metals, gemstones, and intricate jewelry designs

  • You have experience in fine jewellery repair and restoration, including resizing rings, replacing gemstones, and repairing clasps and settings.

  • You are familiar with various gemstones, their characteristics, and appropriate setting techniques

  • It is highly meriting if you are proficient in CAD software for 3D modeling and rendering.

Maria Nilsdotter is now looking for a sales advisor for our stores in Stockholm. As a sales advisor, you are an important ambassador for Maria Nilsdotter and we expect you to provide a unique and personalized customer experience in all touch points with our customers. We believe that you are a person who connects with people easily and that customer contact comes natural to you. You are detail oriented, responsive and have a feel for outstanding service. In addition to the daily service and sales work, this position includes opening and closing our stores, jewellery care, inventory management and cashier work. You are responsible for ensuring that our stores are presentable and tidy at all times and that our jewellery is presented in a desirable way. You are an important part of the team and help our store managers in their daily work.
