Budbee
We offer home and box delivery with Budbee to most large citys in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Netherlands. When choosing home delivery you will receive a link via email or text message where you can choose the time for delivery. 


DHL
We offer shipping with DHL within Sweden. Your order will be delivered to your local delivery point. A delivery notification will be sent via text message or email when your package is ready to be collected.



UPS
We offer shipping with UPS for international orders. Your order will be delivered to your home address. A delivery notification will be sent via text message or email when your package is on its way to you.

Pick Up In-Store
Your order will be ready to pick up in our flagship store at Sturegatan 6 in Stockholm within 1 business day. You will receive a notification via email when your order is ready for pick up. When picking up your package in our flagship store, please bring your ID. If you are picking up a package for someone else, please bring your ID and the person who has ordered the package ́s ID.

We love our everyday armour and want to share these tips for the best care of yours:

1 Wear with care – we recommend that you put on your jewellery after applying makeup and getting dressed. We also advise that jewellery is removed before any physically demanding activities like sport, household work, swimming or gardening.

2 Think about storage – jewellery should be stored away from direct sunlight, damp, and extremes of either heat or cold. Remember to take extra care with pearls, which are soft and easily scratched. Specially designed jewellery boxes, with soft lining and individual compartments are almost always best!

Whether it is fine jewellery in 18k gold, silver pieces, or elaborate rings and headpieces, material and craftsmanship run like a thread through all her work.

Maria Nilsdotter graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2007 with a BA in Jewellery Design. She started her own brand that same year. Since then she has consistently reinvented her design, never losing touch of her love for Nordic nature and mysticism. Maria Nilsdotter’s design is a personal yet timeless universe where one can find strength and inspiration to create their very own collection of everyday armour.

If you would like to exchange one item for another, please return the original item and then place a new order. You will be refunded for the original item in accordance with our usual returns policy.

If you for any reason would like to return your jewellery, you can do so within 30 days of receiving your package. Simply select your return reason from the Return Form below and include it with your returned item.

As your chosen carrier, DHL has included a return label with your order. Simply place this on the package including your jewelry and leave it at your nearest DHL service point. Please contact us to get a new return label if you do not have one.

As your chosen carrier, Budbee has sent you a text message with a link where you can request a pick-up from Budbee.

As your chosen carrier, UPS has included a return label with your order. Simply place this on the package including your jewelry and request a pick-up from UPS.

You are welcome to come by our store at Sturegatan 6 to return your order. If you want to ship the order back to us please get in contact with our customer service and we will send you a return label and instruction how to proceed.

Products are classified as faulty if they are damaged at the time of receipt or where a manufacturing fault occurs or becomes apparent within 6 months of purchase. This policy does not include damage caused by normal use over time. If you believe you have received a faulty product please contact us as soon as possible with documentation of the damage and/or fault, before sending the piece, so that the damage can be assessed.

If the complaint is approved, we will send you a similar non-faulty product upon receipt of the faulty product and the cost of return shipping will be reimbursed to you on presentation of proof of postage.

If the faulty product you returned is not in stock, you will be reimbursed the full purchase amount.

Items lost or damaged in return transit will not be compensated for.

Note that for customers outside the EU, VAT and other import expenses are not covered by Maria Nilsdotter.

Data privacy is of high importance for Maria Nilsdotter and we want to be open and transparent with our processing of your personal data. How long time does it take until I receive my refund?

If you paid with credit card (Adyen), your refund will show at your bank account within approximately 5 - 10 business days. We will make a refund through Adyen, who will accept it and send it to your bank. How long it takes for your bank you pay out your money depends on their deliberation time. If you have not received your refund within 10 days, first contact your bank.

If you paid with PayPal, we will refund you through them. The refund usually take approximately 3- 5 business days. If you have not received your refund after 5 days, please contact

Can I return or exchange an item purchased online in store?

You are welcome to exchange or return your product in our flagship store at Sturegatan 6 in Stockholm. Please note that your refund will be paid out through your chosen payment method and not directly in the store.

My gold-plating has become pale, can I add a new layer?

Yes, you can add a new gold-plating on you ring for 300 SEK and it takes between 3-6 weeks. Please note that a gold-plating does not last for a life time. How long a gold-plating last differs from person to person. Things to take into consideration are for example if you shower or wash your hands with your jewellery on, since gold plating is extra sensitive towards water. It can also depend on how much salt you have on your body.

I seem to be in-between sizes, do you make half sizes?

Unfortunately, our rings do not come in half sizes, but you are welcome to resize your rings through us. To resize a ring costs 200 SEK for silver rings and 500 SEK for gold-plated rings. If you are unsure of your size, please come by one of our stores or contact 

My jewellery has been damaged, what do I do?

If your jewellery has been damaged, we always strive to fix it. To make sure that your jewellery is fixed properly, we always want to have a look at it first so we can find the source of the fault. Please come by one of our stores or contact us at 

I have lost my return label, can I get a new one?

Deliveries to all countries are shipped on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, meaning that VAT is included in the price. Deliveries outside the EU (e.g. Norway, USA) are also shipped on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis.

VAT and taxes are always included in the price and applies all countries.

We accept payment by most major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Eurocard, Maestro, American Express and Diners Club. We follow Swedish law and on completing a purchase your credit card will be authorized for the full amount of the order. To make your purchase as safe as possible, your credit card information is sent via a secure connection and your card details cannot be read by outsiders. In the case of a return the purchase amount will be transferred back to your credit card. You must always enter your credit card details for each visit with us as we do not save this type of information.

When we receive your order we will send you an order confirmation via email. The confirmation is sent within 24 hours, if you have not received it within that period send an email to

In asserting Force Majeure as an excuse, Maria Nilsdotter shall have the burden of proving that reasonable steps were taken (under the circumstances) to minimize delay or damages caused by foreseeable events, that all non-excused obligations were substantially fulfilled, and that the other Party was timely notified of the likelihood or actual occurrence which would justify such an assertion, so that other prudent precautions could be contemplated.

Our diamonds are sourced via a secured chain following the Kimberley Process, meaning that we can trace where they come from and where they have been. Read more about 

We are thoughtful about which metals and gemstones we use in our products. All bespoke pieces, including engagement rings, are accompanied by a certificate according to the Kimberley Process. We use Fair Trade gold and recycled silver whenever it is available and look forward to the developments in the market that make both more accessible. We only work with gemstones and precious metals, no plastics or artificial materials.

We work to incorporate the potential environmental impact in the daily choices we make, whether it is having the goal of a paperless office, how we book travel or shipping and packaging.
