Will I get my order in time for Christmas?

To ensure your order arrives in time for Christmas, we recommend placing orders within Sweden by 12:00 CET on December 18. For international orders, please order by 12:00 CET on December 16.

Do you have an extended return policy during the holiday season?

Yes, we offer an extended return policy during the holiday season. All orders placed from November 15, 2024, onwards can be returned until January 7, 2025.

What countries do you ship to?

We ship worldwide. If you don’t see your country listed in the country selector (at the bottom of the site), please contact us, and we will do everything we can to arrange shipping to your location.

What are the shipping and customs fees?

We offer complimentary shipping worldwide, all taxes and duties included. Please note that free shipping will be applied to your order at checkout.

How long does it take for my order to be delivered?

Shipping usually takes between 2-5 business days, depending on your location. More specific estimated shipping days can be found when selecting your preferred shipping method at checkout.

Is my package insured?

Yes, we take responsibility for your package in the event that it goes missing during time in transit. For returns, we are also responsible for the package as long as you use a return label provided by us.

Can I collect my online order in store?

If you are located in Stockholm, Sweden, we offer in-store pickup for online orders at our flagship store on Mäster Samuelsgatan 3. Simply select "Pick up in Flagship Store" as the delivery method in checkout.

Can I use my gift card online and in-store?

Gift cards purchased online can only be used for online purchases. Gift cards bought in one of our physical stores can only be used for in-store purchases.

What types of payment do you accept?

We offer various payment solutions depending on the country you're shopping from. Go to the checkout to see which payment methods are available for your specific location.

Can I combine 2 online gift cards for the same purchase?

No, at this time, it is only possible to apply one gift card per purchase.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 14-day return policy, effective from the day your package is delivered to you. To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, with the sealing tag still in place, and in their original packaging. Refunds for returned merchandise will be issued to the original purchaser’s form of payment. To initiate a return, simply fill out the return form included in your parcel and place it with your returned item. Please note that made-to-order items and items with personalized engraving cannot be returned.

Can I return an item purchased online in store?

You are welcome to return your product at our flagship store on Mäster Samuelsgatan 3 in Stockholm. Your refund will be issued through your original payment method and not directly in the store. Please note that exchanges cannot be processed in-store. However, you can return your online order and make a new purchase in-store.

When do I get my refund?

Once your return has been received and processed by us, you will receive an email notification.

  • Klarna Invoice: Your invoice will be updated within 1 business day. If it hasn’t been credited, please contact Klarna or customercare@marianilsdotter.com.

  • Credit Card (Adyen): Refunds will appear in your bank account within 5-10 business days. If you haven't received it by then, please contact your bank.

  • PayPal: Refunds take approximately 3-5 business days. If you haven't received it after 5 days, contact customercare@marianilsdotter.com.

I have lost my return label, how do I get a new one?

Please email us at customercare@marianilsdotter.com, and we will provide you with a new return label.

Can I track my order?

When your order has been dispatched, a shipping confirmation email including a tracking link will be sent to your email. You can track and check the status of your package at any time using the link in the shipping notification. Please note that it may take up to 24 hours from dispatch for the tracking status to appear.

Haven’t received a notification? Make sure to check secondary inboxes or spam filters. Otherwise, please contact us at customercare@marianilsdotter.com.

Can I change or update my order?

Once an order has been processed by our warehouse, it cannot be changed. We are unable to add items to any existing order; additional items must be handled as a separate order. However, if your first order has not yet been processed, we may be able to combine the orders.

To improve your chances of receiving all items in the same shipment, please contact us with your request as soon as possible after placing your order. Be sure to have your order number ready when you reach out.

Can I cancel my order?

You cannot cancel your order on your own, but we're here to assist you. If you would like to request an order cancellation, please reach out to our Customer Care. Please note that cancellations can only be processed before your order has been processed and shipped. Once it has shipped, we cannot guarantee a cancellation.

How can I determine my ring size?

There are several methods to determine your ring size. Below are two simple options to help you find the right fit. 1. Measure the Inside Diameter: Use a ring you already own to measure the inside diameter in millimeters. Then, choose the size that best correlates with it in the size conversion chart found on the product page. 2. Measure the Circumference of your finger: Wrap a thread snugly around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure that length with a ruler. Then, choose the size that best correlates with your measurement in the size conversion chart found on the product page..

What if you are in-between sizes?

In general, it's recommended to choose the larger size if you're between two sizes, but there are other factors to consider before making your decision. Finger size can fluctuate throughout the day and across seasons. It’s common to need a slightly larger ring in the morning compared to the evening, and similarly, a larger size in summer versus winter.

The thickness of the band also influences how the ring fits. A thinner band may feel more comfortable in a smaller size, while a thicker band might require sizing up.

Consider when and how you plan to wear the ring, and whether you have a similar ring that matches the design you're looking at now. This can help guide you in selecting the right size.

Do you offer half sizes for rings?

Our rings are not available in half sizes, but we do offer resizing services. Resizing is free of charge within 30 days of purchase when you provide your receipt or Order Confirmation email as proof of purchase. My silver jewellery has turned dark! What has happened?

If your sterling silver jewellery has turned dark, it is likely due to a natural process called oxidation. Sterling silver can react with sulfur and other elements in the air, leading to tarnishing, which appears as a darkened surface. This is a common occurrence and can be easily managed.

To restore your jewellery's shine, we recommend using a silver polishing cloth or a gentle silver cleaner. To prevent future tarnishing, store your pieces in a cool, dry place, ideally in an airtight container, and avoid exposing them to moisture or harsh chemicals.

My gold-plated jewellery has started to tarnish. Do you offer a re-plating service?

Yes, we offer a re-plating service for gold-plated jewellery. If your piece has tarnished, we can re-plate it for a cost ranging from 300 SEK to 1,900 SEK, depending on the size of the jewellery. This process takes approximately 4-6 weeks. If you need assistance with re-plating, please contact our customer care or visit any of our stores.

Please keep in mind that gold plating is not permanent, and its lifespan can vary from person to person based on their lifestyle and care habits.

To prevent tarnishing in the future, it's important to take care of your jewellery. Gold plating is particularly sensitive to moisture, so we recommend removing your jewellery before washing your hands, showering, or swimming. Additionally, storing your pieces in a cool, dry place, preferably in a soft cloth or jewellery box, can help minimize exposure to air and humidity.

How are your diamonds obtained?

Maria Nilsdotter takes great pride in the quality and singular beauty of every diamond in our collection, knowing that each stone is ethically sourced and responsibly handled. We carefully select only the finest diamonds of G color and VS quality for their breathtaking beauty and sparkle.

We exclusively purchase conflict-free diamonds from authorized retailers in adherence to United Nations resolutions. We also ensure that all the naturally sourced diamonds in our jewellery meet the rigorous standards of the Kimberley Process. All naturally sourced diamonds weighing more than 0.30 carats are accompanied by a Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report, which attests to their quality based on the four C's: Carat, Color, Clarity, and Cut.

How do I care for my jewellery?

To ensure that the beauty and shine of your investment lasts, it's important to exercise cautious care when handling and storing your jewellery. Whether you choose from our silver collection, fine jewellery, or bespoke pieces, each piece is crafted to last. We take pride in using only the finest materials, and all our gold and silver jewellery is nickel-free.

Do you offer engraving?

Yes, we offer engraving services for most of our jewellery pieces. For the Sign My Heart Necklace and the Explosion Ring, you can easily add engraving details directly on the product page.

The cost for engraving varies depending on the product, and the process usually takes 2-4 weeks. Please note that engraving options can vary between hand engraving and machine engraving, depending on the specific item. We recommend that you contact our customer care before placing your order to confirm the engraving type available for your chosen product. How often should I restring my pearl necklace to keep it in good condition?

All our pearls are threaded with natural silk. The silk thread, being a natural material, can weaken over time, gradually stretching and risking breakage. For jewellery worn frequently, we recommend having it restrung once a year to keep your pearl necklace in top condition; infrequent wear may not require yearly maintenance. Inspect the silk thread for signs of stretching—this indicates it’s time for a restring. Regular upkeep is essential to preserve both the quality and value of your pearl necklace.

We offer pearl restringing from 900 kr, depending on the size of the jewellery, with the process taking 2-3 weeks. For assistance with restringing, please contact our Customer Care team.
